Sorry to hear that. However, you do have hope, as stage II is usually treatable. You don't say how long it took for your results to come back. Was it from a biopsy? When did you first present to your doctor with complaints that made him/her suspect cancer? Cancers grow at varying speeds. Some have much higher survival rates than others. There are many factors. involved, and your question does not provide enough information, including where the cancer was found. You should really be sitting down with your oncologist to determine the best course of treatment, and if it turns out there was an inordinate delay, maybe then consider a lawsuit.
